With a real baby in the manger, Christmas comes early to a church in New York!

babeThe Christmas manger was ready. The parishioners of the Holy Child of Jesus Church in the Richmond Hill section of Queens in New York were doing an aloof preparation for the Nativity of Jesus Christ. But, none really thought that Christmas will dawn in their church so early.

The custodian at the church returned at 1 pm after the lunch, when he was surprised to find a new born baby with the umbilical cord still attached, was abandoned in the Christmas manger of the church. He looked around to find no one. Christopher Heanue, the pastor of the church, scribbled on his facebook wall that the baby boy weighed a little more than 5 pounds. The baby is in good health, the police reports.

Investigations are going on to find who has left the baby in the manger. The police are examining the surveillance cameras for some clue.

“Let us pray for this child for his parents and for whomever will receive him into their home” that is all Christopher Heanue, the pastor has to say.
