Vatican City: Pope Francis exhorted the selected members of the Jesuit’s family to continue to lend their services to those who were mostly in need of Christ. The Pope advised them to “move forward, overcoming the impediments which the enemy of human nature puts in our way when, in serving God, we are seeking the greater good.” He was meeting with the delegates of the Congregation of the Society of Jesus at the order’s general curia in Rome.
Pope Francis, as a member of the Jesuit family advised them to walk along the side of the people by making them available for all. “We walk neither alone nor comfortably; we walk with ‘a heart that does not rest, which does not close in on itself, but which beats to the rhythm of a journey that takes place along with all the faithful people of God,’” he continued.
“The Lord, who looks at us with mercy and chooses us, sends us” to bring the same mercy “to the poor, the sinners, the rejected and the crucified of the world today who suffer injustice and violence.” The Pope said to them.
