Last year Loyola Press, the United States-based Jesuit publishing house, approached the Pope with the idea and the Holy Father agreed. As part of it they received a positive response from the crowd.
The Jesuits collected the little curious questions from Catholic and non-Catholic children around the world. From 26 countries, they received 259 questions in 14 languages. The book’s editor, Fr. Paul Campbell, SJ, sat down along with a committee and selected the questions to send the Pope.
