Pope Francis during his Wednesday General audience prayed for the victims of recent terrorist attacks in Syria and for those who caused death and destruction. The Pope prayed for the terrorists to change their ways.
The Pope remembered the “defenceless civilians” who died on May in recent terrorist attacks happened in Syria. He asked everyone to pray for the “eternal repose of the victims, solace for the relatives” and that God would “convert the hearts of those who sow death and destruction.”
More than 160 people were killed in the explosions happened in the cities of Jableh and Tartus. ISIS have claimed responsibility over the attack.
