Pope Francis expressed deepfelt sorrow over the terrorist attack on the Erawan Hindu Shrine in Bangkok, which took place on Monday evening. 20 people were killed during the attack. In a telegram sent to Bhumibol Adulyadej, the King of Thailand, the Pope expressed “heartfelt solidarity” with those affected by violence.
