Pope Francis asked to pray for those suffering refugees fleeing wars. He asked the faithful gathered in St Peter’s Square to pray especially for migrant crisis in Greece. “My prayer, and undoubtedly yours as well, always includes the dramatic situation of refugees who flee from wars and other inhuman situations,” the Pope said.
The Pontiff had also asked for a harmonized response that could lead to the negotiations decisively and unreservedly.
The Pope asked everyone to pray for the ceasefire that began in Syria. He said that prayer “might bring relief to the suffering population and open the path to dialogue and the peace that is so desired.”
