Google marked International Women’s Day with a special live–action Google Doodle featuring real women. The video featured real women sharing their hopes for the future and one among them mentioned Pope Francis.
Google staff visited 13 countries and 337 women and girls to complete the sentence, “One day I will…”, Later, this video was used to create the 90 second Google Doodle.
In the video, a notable woman anthropologist, Jane Goodall shared that she wanted to meet the Holy Father. “I will discuss the environment with Pope Francis,” she said in the video.
This year’s theme of International Women’s Day is “Planet 50-50 by 2030,” a campaign that put gender equality at the center of global sustainability plans.
