Speaking to young people at the World Youth Day, Pope Francis said that God never cares what clothes they wear or what kind of cell phone they use, but in His eyes everyone is precious irrespective of what one has.
“No one is insignificant. God counts on you for what you are, not for what you possess” Pope said. “At times in our lives, we aim lower rather than higher. But God is always “cheering us on; he is our biggest fan” he added.
Pope Francis exhorted the young pilgrims “to be courageous, not to be afraid to take risks.” “If people laugh because they believe in the gentle and unassuming power of mercy, don’t be discouraged” he added.
