The demolition of the house was filmed by Zak Bagans, who even had made a documentary on the house. He had purchased the home in 2014 to film the documentary which would be released later this year.

Father Michael Maginot, pastor of St. Stephen Martyr Church in Merrillville, Indiana along with Father Vincent Lampert, pastor of St. Malachy Church and the exorcist for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, had done a series of exorcisms to free the house from possession.

Father Lampert warned those people who give unnecessary attention to the evil powers. He said, “There are a lot of people that watch those ghost-hunter shows that don’t have a connection with God. Evil plays on a person’s mind and memories. If a person does not have a faith life to deal with evil, then his life can be destroyed by it.”

The house belonging to Latoya Ammons received international attention after multiple people gave testimonies of demonic activities happened in the house and to its inmates.
