Denver Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila led 1,800 Catholics in a graceful Eucharistic procession around the abortion clinic in Stapleton, Colorado. The Eucharistic procession was made seven times around the clinic.
“It was truly a moment of grace, a moment of blessing, a moment of praying to our Lord that hearts may be changed. It was wonderful to see how many turned out today,” Archbishop Aquila said.
Measures were taken to ensure the sacred nature of the Eucharistic procession. Before the beginning of the procession, Father Scott Bailey emphasized the crowd about the importance of silence. Seminarians from St. John Vianney Theological Seminary led the people in prayer by singing hymns and prayers while the procession passed around the building. They also assisted with crowd management.
