Church of England plans to join their hands with Pope to safeguard environment. Father Nicholas Holtam recommended his parishioners to engage in prayers on the World day of creation, which is put forward by Pope Francis, showcasing the importance of protecting the environment and the surroundings we live in. Pope Francis urged the believers to work together to attain the common goal, as he mentioned it in his new encyclical ‘Laudato Si’.
Pope Francis, along with other catholic members plans to fast and pray on the World day of creation which is to celebrate on September. “Human activities have played havoc in the environment and it has created problems like climate change and global warming. Whatever may be the scientific, economic and political difficulties, at root this is a spiritual problem”, Said Father Nicholas Holtam..
