635647757819090073-FRANCISPope Francis made and exhortation to priests to keep alive the foundational charism and ability to communicate to the young. The Holy Father was speaking to the participants in the general chapter of the Schoenstatt fathers.

Pope reminded that charism is not a museum piece that remains intact in a display cabinet. Keeping the charism pure doesn’t mean that it has to be kept in sealed bottles like distilled water, so that it is not contaminated by the outside world. Rather he encouraged the priests to acquire three key ingredients in life, contemplation, service and fraternity.

Apostolic Schoenstatt Movement was found in October 18, 1914 by Fr. Jose Kentenich. It was found as part of the spiritual renewal within the Catholic Church. This year the movement is celebrating its 50th anniversary..
