Can’t worship God, can’t bury their dead: a sad story from Pakistan

mirad2KallarSyedan Tehsil in Rawalpindi has a sad story to tell. KallarSyedan Tehsil belongs to Punjab province in Pakistan. The Christians living there are undergoing through terrible miseries in life, with no place to worship their God, nor place to bury their loved ones. The people are forced to transport their dead to Rawat, Pirwadhai and GujarKahan for burying, since their place, tehsil lacks a graveyard.

Over 300 Christians, living in the Tehsil area, are struggling to adore God, their Creator. The Christians living there uses a rented place to offer homage to God.

The Christians and Muslims in the area are living in peace and harmony. They had a graveyard before. But the unequal distribution of the area and the presence of a sewage line wiped off that hope too. The Christians in the area are living with the hope that soon the Government will take note of their issues and necessary actions will be taken.
