A wounded family is better than an isolated one, says Pope Francis

“It is true that living in family is not always easy, and can often be painful and stressful but, as I have often said referring to the Church, I prefer a wounded family that makes daily efforts to put love into play, to a society that is sick from isolationism and habitually afraid of love,” says Pope Francis.

Pope also mentioned in his message that it has become a trend that the modern society favour a family based on isolation. He had spoken to the gathering and met with the families at the “Victor Manuel Reyna” stadium in the capital of Mexico’s Chiapas state.
